What you need

What PlayOps does not do
- It does not work offline — parent WhatsApp alerts and live reports need internet.
- It is not a full accounting or tax-filing package; it produces the sales record, not the return.
- It does not sell or lease play equipment, and it is not a booking marketplace for parents.
- It is not a childcare, daycare or preschool attendance system.
- It does not process payments itself — the centre keeps its own payment arrangement and records how the parent paid.
Questions owners ask
- Do we keep our hardware?
- Yes. PlayOps runs in Chrome on whatever tablet, phone, or PC you have at the counter. The wristbands stay the same. Printers, payment QR — all unchanged.
- What about UPI / cash split?
- Every checkout asks how the parent paid: UPI, cash, card, or split. The close-of-day report breaks revenue down by payment method automatically, so the cash-drawer reconciliation takes one minute, not ten.
- Can we use it for GST and accounts?
- It gives you the sales record, not the return. Every checkout is logged with the payment method, and the whole month exports as CSV for your accountant. PlayOps does not file GST and is not a full accounting package.
- Does PlayOps take the payment?
- No. The parent pays you the way they always have — your UPI QR, cash, or your own card machine. PlayOps records how they paid, so the day's total matches what is actually in the drawer.
